The TRS Control GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft was originally founded by the partners of Trost · Rudoba & Sozien. TRS Control GmbH conducts special examinations, business evaluations and further individual tasks in the field of auditing. It undertakes the obligatory statutory auditing of annual financial statements, including status reports. It is also authorized to examine money-market-oriented joint-stock companies in terms of section 264 d of HGB [German Commercial Code] or companies of public interest.
In addition to this, the firm of auditors and accountants, TRS Control GmbH, undertakes the (statutory) final examination in cases of deep-rooted client relationships between companies and their tax consultants / sworn accountants, when these are not permitted to or are unable to conduct the audit.
TRS Control GmbH furthermore conducts inspections in keeping with the Broker and Builder Ordinance, as well as examinations of the proper collection and processing of EU subsidies and of other funding.
On 7th October 2005 TRS Control GmbH received the first certificate for participation in systems of quality control in keeping with section 57a, paragraph 6, sentence 7 of WPO and is therefore permitted to carry out all obligatory statutory audits and examinations, it having meanwhile passed a renewed quality control. The current participatory certificate of the Chamber of Auditors and Accountants dates from 24th February 2009 and is limited until 20th February 2015.
TRS Control GmbH is also licenced as a registered examiner for quality control in accordance with section 57a of WPO, as examined by the Chamber of Auditors and Accountants, and is therefore entitled to inspect the quality-assurance systems of other auditors and firms of auditors and accountants. Auditors entitled to undertake quality-control inspections on other auditors and firms of auditors and accountants must, as well as having themselves satisfied a quality control in addition to the customary professional vocational training measures for auditors, also have taken part in special vocational training in quality assurance, if they are to be awarded a permanent licence as a so-called registered examiner for quality control in accordance with section 57a of WPO.
