The Federal Chamber of Tax Consultants is the top statutory organization for the regional chambers of tax consultants and represents the interests of the profession in its entirety, both in Germany and abroad. It co-ordinates opinion-forming between the chambers of tax consultants and makes decisions on professional and profession-related matters, which are then passed on to the legislator and to other institutions.

(DStV) represents as head organisation the members of the tax consultant professions in the Federal Republic of Germany. 15 member associations belong to DStV. North Rhine-Westphalia e.V. (StBV NW)
The StBV NW was established on 13th May 1946 on the initiative of the former OFD President and the members of the profession located in Greater Düsssldorf as “Düsseldorf Chamber of Tax Consultants”. After the unification with the colleagues located in Westphalia in 1947 the society named itself Tax Consultants Society North Rhine-Westphalia e.V. The StBV NW campaigns for the interests and concerns of all its members.
